FAQ

In-Depth Responses to Your Questions

How do I apply for admission? What documents are required?

Complete the online application, submit prior report cards, recommendation letters, behavioral report, and immunization cards. If you have any standardized testing available, you may provide this. Testing will be scheduled once a complete application has been submitted.

When does enrollment open for a new school year? Am I able to apply early? Will that guarantee my child a spot for the following academic year?

Applications for a new school year open in February for new families. Admission is determined based on space availability and the completion admissions requirements, including an entrance exam. Admission is not guaranteed.

Can I add my child to a waiting list since the class is full?

Yes, we can add a student to a waiting list if the class section is full. We will inform parents if and once a seat becomes available.

How can I schedule a campus tour?

Prospective families may request a tour by scheduling an appointment under the Admissions tab, or by calling in the office.

 Is IQA accredited?

Yes. IQA is fully accredited by Cognia and ISLA (Islamic School League of America) and follows all Texas education standards.

What is the tuition? What financial aid or scholarships are available? How is eligibility determined?

Tuition varies by grade level and program. Limited need-based financial aid is offered. Families are required to be Zakaat eligible. Sibling discounts are offered—details are on our Admissions page.

How can parents stay informed about school events, announcements, and student progress?

Families receive regular email updates, weekly school newsletter, and can access grades through our online portal. Families are encouraged to attend parent meetings, monthly meetings with leadership, and school events.

What does a typical daily schedule look like for elementary students?

Our current school hours for elementary, middle, and high school students are 7:40 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 7:45 AM – 12:30 PM on Fridays.
